Creating a structure to display an arrangement is kind of like packing a truck for me. I start with larger and heavier boxes and crates to create a base and build upwards and sideways. When the rough structure is built, then, the interior spaces can be built and arranged. As this starts to fill up, the “cubbies and compartments” can be decorated with artifacts, collectibles, and any sort of individual pieces that are interesting, attractive, or fun to look at, and complements or contrasts with the individual pieces around it.

The beauty and character of vintage artifacts fascinate me. Each item whispers a story, no matter how commonplace or rare. My particular passion is to bring these stories to life, pondering why, how, where, when, and by whom an item was designed, crafted, and used.
